Gee, in reading that, you really don’t get to know me. I’m a transplant from the East Coast. I’m originally from Maine and have had the good fortune to experience many different states. I enjoy the arts, even though I don’t carry a tune, I volunteer with Port Ludlow Performing Arts who brings talent to the area to perform and donates generously through scholarships to the local youths. I volunteered for several years with Ludlow Village Players. They celebrate local talent with local theatre and also provide scholarships to local artists. Both great groups.
Before firmly landing in the realm of real estate, I’d worked as a sign language interpreter for the deaf. My interpreting was predomenately in schools, and while focused on that, I volunteered with the Deaf Service Center of the Treasure Coast, Colorado Interpreters for the Deaf Board and on an Colorado Department of Education Advisory Board focused on services for deaf and hard of hearing services in the k-12 environment. I enjoyed both my work and volunteering during that chapter of my life. Every day brought something different.
Real estate is also brings great variety to my life. Every client has different wants and needs. Marketing homes, navigating negotiations and contracts are just the tip of the iceberg. I priortize my clients needs and wants and do all I can to exceed their expectations.
Separate for work obligations, I manage to belong to two neighborhood bookclubs. They have provided me with a more diverse group of reading, a fun outlet and I look forward to seeing my friends at group.
